“Christmas is the spirit of giving, without a thought of getting. It is the happiness because we see joy in people. It is forgetting self, and finding time for others. It is discarding the meaningless and stressing the true values.”
We @SMSGGIS, began the day with a Christmas message of “Share love to all” .
The senior students of our school conducted the special assembly where all the students performed various poems related to Christmas. The senior grade students welcomed all with a mesmerizing dance performance. This was followed by the heavenly choir, comprising of students from grade 2, who sang their first carol of “Hark the herald” and brought in the essence of the festive.
The students of grade 1 & 4 also performed a skit named ‘The Christmas Nativity – a short story of Jesus birth’. This short skit not only brought out the essence of festivity but also brought many hidden talents to the limelight.
Finally the little Santas came up with their beautiful carol as a surprise and went around distributing sweets to all children.
Then, our respected principal ma’am, Ms. Alka Monga addressed the students and motivated them with her message about the Christmas celebration. The day ended with happiness and smile on every single face.
